Sending Snow

My sister and I are the only children in our family.  We grew to be very close.  Right now we are physically separated by a thousand (if not more) miles of land and sea. I miss her terribly.

The Woman I Call Sister
                                              The woman I call sister
                                             Is someone who is there
                                              The woman I call sister
                                         Is someone who always cares.

                                             The woman I call sister
Can make me smile when times are blue
                                             The woman I call sister
                                               Is someone very true.

                                             The woman I call sister
By choice, is my best of friend
                                             The woman I call sister
Will be there till the end

                                            The woman I call sister
Is the blessing from God above
                                            The woman I call sister
Is the sister that I'll always love.

The rest of this post is for my sister, but you all can read and enjoy it also.
Dear Janel,
I know how much you are missing the northern winter weather, so I thought I'd send you some pictures I have on my lap top.  I hope they don't make you cry.

Remember that year?  We bought that bull calf as Dad's Christmas present and we had to feed it without him knowing.  It worked out quite well if I do say so myself. :)
You know how the wind whips around the house and makes all those wonderful drifts that Dad plows through.

I think you got one of those sudden urges to play in the snow. . .

Looks like you had quite the fun! I should have gone out and joined you.

I think that was the year mom got the bright idea of inventing a new way to go skiing in the flat lands.

Poor Ginger, she must have thought her owners really lost it! (I love how the calf is watching us.)
That was also the year mom stuck a pair of dad's pants on two sticks, upside down in a snow drift wasn't it?  And then we saw Corkie sitting beside it because he thought it was Dad!  What a loyal dog.
This winter is not anything like that winter. At least not yet.  I don't think the weather knows what it wants to do.  So don't feel like you're missing out on anything, because you're not.

All my love, to my dear sister,
~ Tiffany

Verse of the week: Hebrews 11:25
"He [Moses] chose to be mistreated along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a short time. "
